One thing I never really anticipated when I started my YOUTUBE channel, was that some would be interested in my make-up, my shapewear, my beauty routine, how I organise things and so on. But it turns out that people wish to know... So in this post I want to take you through some of my beauty favourite bits that I use, and that I get from Amazon.
SHAPEWEAR
The most asked about item is my shapewear. I make no secret of wearing shapewear pretty much every day. I have tried and tested a TON of shapewear and made many videos on this. You can find the playlist HERE if you wish to watch them, but my absolute favourite shapewear is from an amazon seller called Delimera. I made a video about their shape wear as well. Watch it HERE.
Its so comfortable, so stretchy that I recommend sizing down if you want to be real snatched and it wash up great. Best of all though, it does not make me look pregnant. It doesn't push the belly out to push other bits in. It comes in several colours, with or without legs and I'm sure several other kinds as well if you do a search. These 2 are however the ones I use and recommend to all who asks. Find the ones with leg HERE
Find the ones with no leg HERE I use size 18-20 on an every day basis and a size 16 when I want to be real snatched.
(I am a UK size 22)
MAKEUP
It is no secret that I am a bit of a mascara snob. I have tested many over on my FACEBOOK PAGE but the winner is still the MAX FACTOR FALSE LASH EFFECT. Find it HERE.
It is the only mascara I have found that doesn't clump my lashes, doesn't take forever to apply and give me the opportunity to create what ever look I want. If I was to recommend just one mascara, this one would be the winner.
When it comes to my eye shadow I keep returning to these two palettes. Both from MAKEUP REVOLUTION and both with both cool and warm tones. The first one is a glitter palette which I admit I don't wear as often (I prefer a mat look) but the mat palette is used nearly daily. They glide on very easy and blend really well but best is the colours. All neutrals but so many options.

When it comes to makeup brushes, I have become a bit of a snob as well. I have many brushes and started with all the cheaper ones. As I got better at makeup however, I invested in sigma brushes. Now I'm not saying that cheaper brands aren't good, I'm simply saying, Sigma is best.. They are an investment! They are not cheap and if you are simply using makeup once in a while then a cheaper brand will do the job no problem. If however like me, you wear makeup most days and want an easy time of the eyeshadows, a set of these are well worth putting on your Christmas list. The result is flawless and so smooth even on days when I forget the primer... which I do most days.. I started with a single brush, which you can find HERE and I then asked Santa for a set for being a good girl all year, and he delivered. Find the set HERE.
As for the rest of my makeup, I use foundation, eyebrow gel and blush from Primark (not available online). My contour & bronzer is from SHEIN (find it HERE).
When you invest in something you naturally want to look after it. I wash my makeup brushes 2-3 times a month, sometimes more, but as I have quite a collection now (not all Sigma lol) I want a quick way to get the job done. I found this brush spinner and its a god sent. Especially to get the water out of my brushes after washing. I use hand soap and the little blue scrubbing pad to wash my brushes. I rinse them out and then I use the spinner to spin the water out of them.
It stops the brushes from getting water logged and ruined. I then lay them flat on a towel over night and they are good to go a day or 2 later, depending on size.

HAIR
Ok I am not really "famous" for my amazing hair lol, on the contrary. I never do much with my hair, firstly because I don't know how and don't care much to learn. Second, I hate getting my hair touched or done.. And third, simply because I have very fine thin hair that gets greasy by simply looking at it. Dry shampoo is my best friend. I use Batiste original dry shampoo. You can find it HERE.
This means that on days I am not working in front of the camera, I don't actually do anything with my hair. I let it airdry and pop it in a pony or a little bun.
On days I'm in front of the camera though, I like having my hair done. I simply dry it with a simple hair dryer, mine is a cheap TRESemme one (find it HERE) an I follow that with my GHD straighteners. Mine are a real old set but they have stood the test of time and I will recommend from
now and till Christmas eve lol. They glide so easy on the hair and with a little practice they can make amazing curly hair.
Find the pictured GHD's HERE.
When it comes to curling my hair, which I admit I dont do often, I tend to use this little gadget. I found it on amazon forever ago and did a review on my YOUTTUBE channel on it. Again it takes a little practice but once you get the hang of it, its easy and simple.. and No it does not pull your hair. Just take a small section at a time and youll be just fine. Watch the video HERE. Find the machine HERE.
The last item in the hair section is a little protective heat resistant mat. The table where I do my hair is wooden and I was always afraid that my machines would damage the table, or worse. I mentioned it to my husband, who is a real fixer-upper, and he found this mat for me on amazon. Really inexpensive but it has saved me the worry when using my hair machines. It simply lies on the table and when I am done doing my hair, I pop the machine on the mat, turn off the plug and voila, no more worry.

SKIN CARE
The last few pieces I want to share this time is my latest skin care loves. Vitamin C from ROC! Someone recommended adding vitamin c to my routine and after trying one from Primark, and loving it, I decided to search for a brand with good reviews. I landed on these 2 from ROC and found them both on amazon. Not the cheapest products but nor do they break the bank and I love the feel of both on my skin. The little bottle is an oil serum and I love that it doesn't clog my pores. The little tub is the daily gel cream and its so smooth and yummy. Am I looking 10 years younger? Maybe not but I love both and I do feel my skin is glowing a little bit more.
